Rata and the tree
Rata was worried about his people. He went to the forest to find a perfect tree to build a waka for his village so they can go away from the 2 Gods, Tawhirimatea and Tangaroa, because he heard that they were going to have a battle. At last Rata found the perfect tree and then he chopped it down then he said “ I will start carving it tomorrow”.The next day when he came back to the tree it grew back up then he was furious and then he chopped it again.The next day again it grew back then he got mad and said “who is doing this.Show yourself!” and he chopped the tree again for the third time, then he went and hid in the bushes. He was shocked when he saw that the birds and the forest creatures put the tree back to normal. Rata was not happy but the birds and the forest creatures said “Rata your heart is in the right place but your head wasn’t” he apologized to them and then the birds said “please respect Tane Mahuta, the God of the forest”. The birds and the creatures also said “promise that you will reach the others to respect the forest” Rata said “I will '', and so he went back home. The next morning he woke up to the loud noise. The birds and the forest creatures were carrying the waka to Rata’s house. The end.

Walt write about our kiwisport experience
I am going to explain about our skateboarding experience.
First every monday morning room 6 goes to the top court at 9:40. When we go to the top court Ben and Isaac tells us to get a skateboard.After we get our skateboard, we put on our helmets and then go to the yellow line. First we have to do a few laps around the box.
Then we learned tik tak, tik tak is when you put your skateboard up and half of it is down, then you have to turn around.The next thing we learned was when you put your board around, put your feet under it and try to land on it.Third we learned how to balance.Fourth we had some free time on our skateboard.
Finally we learned how to hold our skateboard.Then we did a game of octopus but we had to use our skateboard. After we had to balance on top of our skateboard. There's this other game where you have to skate on our skateboard but when the wolf turns around we have to pause.
I felt tired learning all those tricks but I gained a lot of confidence to ride a skateboard now.

The fun day
The fun day
On Wednesday the school had fun day. It was fun.When we got thereWe went to a game. We had to wear a belt and he had to put two flags on it.The taggers have to rip our tags on our belts.After that game we have to go in the next game.The teacher said get a buddy and my buddy was cheska. Me and my buddy had to wear a belt in our feet,it had to be tied together. When the game started we had to walk to the finish then walk back. Me and cheska did a great job.Next after that game we played softball.Some people had to throw the ball and the other people get to swing the bat.I had a turn swing the bat but i did not get to throw the ball.Then next we had to be in two teams. I was in Red.The blue won all the rounds they had 4 wins and the red had 3 wins. And then we went to the bouncy castles. There were 3 bouncy castles.There was a small,medium,and a big one.On the small one there can only be 5 people inside of it and on the medium one 10 people only and then in the big one i did not know how many people can be inside of it.When some of the class when in it it was wet because on the funday it rained but it was fun and slippery I laughed because I kept on falling down on the climbing stairs then we went out because the other class was coming. After that game we went to the next game we can use a skipping rope and a hoolahoop it was fun using.After we went to class and then we did some work. The end.

1.Why was there a mix up? Because when the vacation ended they all got the same bag.
2.How did Aiden feel when Mr Chalmers began opening up the bags to look inside? Why?He felt embarrassed Because he had an orange tootoo in it.
3.Make a list of all the interesting things the children had brought to school in their bags? Tamsin brought a dead frog,grass,and a 1000 years old egg and Toeiva had a tea bag inside a small picture.
4.What happened when the class saw what was inside Aidens bag?They didn't laugh when they saw the orange tootoo.

New Zealand lock down
We are in New Zealand lock down. This means that we cannot go out of our houses.New Zealand is in lockdown because there is a deadly or dangerous pandemic known as coronavirus. That means that all of the schools in New Zealand are shutdown because of the deadly virus. We have to be at home so we can be safe from it. It has killed thousands of people around the world.
I have spent my time in my bubble with railey, my big brother and my parents. I have been doing home school with my teacher and after that I play roblox with my railey sometimes or just watch netflix.
My family is doing great at home but my dad still has work in the city.My dad sometimes has free time at home.

Me and my class went to the pools on Monday 7th 2020,and the pool was on the road called Morrin Rd.The pools name were called CLM The Bays. Jairus came with us in the pools but he can't swim in the pool because he doesn't have a swimming suit. Me and my friend and classmates were learning how to swim. Me and my classmates felt wet and happy.Liv told us what to do and Nicky gave us a tour around the pool and gave us instructions.
When I was sitting quietly, me and my friend earned a token.Me and my friend were waiting for room 5 to go back to school, and while me and my friend were sitting we got splashed and we got wet. When me and my friend went to the pool it was deep and we almost drowned but luckily there were 3 teachers. Me and my friend learned how to swim and float. It was deep but we still succes.The pool had trampoline so we could breathe in the air. I had to swim to the other side and land on the trampoline.
The teacher taught me and my friend how to float and hold our breath underwater. When I was swimming I swallowed some water and it tasted weird and it was warm. The teacher taught me and my friend how to use my legs and arms. After swimming me and I had to wait for a room.Miss said me and my friend had to dress in one room, so me and my friend dressed up.I put my swimming suit in a plastic so my bag wouldn't get wet.

When a mother butterfly finds a new leaf in a swan plant it lays a caterpillar egg.When the caterpillar egg is ready it hatches into a tiny caterpillar.When the baby caterpillar comes out it eats the new leaf on the swan plant and then it eats more leafs until its fat. When it is ready to turn into a butterfly it hangs itself upside down and turns into a cocoon. Two weeks later it turns into a butterfly but it has to dry its wings because it is sticky.the butterfly flaps its wings slowly. When the wings are dry it can fly.
