Australia was very hot in summers and very cold in winters so a lot of possums died. Australia had bush fires every year so lots of animals died. Australia had lots of predators like pythons and digoes that would eat possums. Because of harsh conditions possum mum would give to one possum in a year.	New Zealand has a mild climate. New Zealand does not have bushfires. Possums are on top of the food chain in New zealand.They eat most of the animals but there is no one to eat them. Possum mother would give birth to 2 joes in one year.

 Today I have learned how to read and understand the text about Fresh paint.

The title is called Fresh Paint and the arthur is Andrew

Frinkle.The book is nonfiction because a lot of people like orange and yellow.The story type is about paint because the title of the story is Fresh paint.The person telling the story is olivia.The main character is olivia's and the secondary is her dad,mom,veronica.Because they are in the story a lot.The characters exist because a lot of people are called olivia and veronica.The story takes place in the improvement shop and their home because the story says says where they were.The story begin with her room being empty and it ends with her room being yellow and orange.The major event is about the paint.THe problem is that her wall in her room was blank/plain.The problem got solved because Olivia and her dad painted it.
